Kogi @ 33: Amb. Usman Bello, Alhaji Isah Adeboye, Bags Award For Promoting Inter Religious Harmony in Kogi State
The Chairman and Secretary, Jamata Nasril Islam, Amb. Usman Bello and Alh. Isah Adeboye have respectively bagged the award for promoting Inter Religious Harmony in Kogi State.
The duo were described as true peace makers and worthy Islamic clerics who have used their positions to indeed, promote peaceful coexistence, with other clerics and clergy asked to emulate their footsteps.
The accolades where showed on the leadership of JNI when they both bagged the Nigerian Post Newspaper Community award for promoting Inter Religious Harmony Award at the Nigerian Post Newspaper annual public lecture.
Similarly their individual accomplishments, in their various fields of endeavor over the years in ensuring socio economic development in the State was equally commended.
Participants at this year’s The Nigerian Post Newspaper annual public lecture where the award was presented to the duo praised the duo when they bagged The Nigerian Post Newspaper Kogi @ 33 Award peace makers and for promoting Inter Religious Harmony in Kogi State.
Speaking at the occasion before the presentation of the award to Chief Meka, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha and Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister for Labour and Employment, urged and commended the duo pointing out that they have remained a positive reference, urged them to sustain the feat that has made him a brand for positive reference.
They commended and praised the duo for their selfless services to the people of the State, praised them in particular for Promoting inter religious harmony.
Speaking at the ceremony, Abu Michael, Publisher, the Nigerian Post Newspaper, added that the duo have proven over time that with deliberate efforts, the adherents of the two major religions in the State can Co habit peaceful and promote sustained development.
In their separate remarks, Amb. Bello and Alhaji Adeboye assured of more service delivery to the people of the State, pointing out that they will always strive to provide quality leadership on behalf of the Islamic religion.

The event took place at the EdgeDrive Hotel Lokoja, had Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo as the Special Guest of Honour.
The 2024 public lecture wad Chaired by Prof. Stephen Ikani Ocheni, former Minister of State, Labour and employment.
His Royal Majesty, the Ohimegye Igu Kingdom, Alhaji Saidu Akawu Salihu served as the Royal father of the day.
