Kabba Bunu LGA PDP Hails Ward Congresses.


 

Describes Complain as figment of imagination of mischief makers

The Peoples Democratic Party in Kabba Bunu LGA of Kogi State has described the last Saturday’s Ward Congresses held in the area as perfect and acceptable by all laid down Party and Constitutional standard.

The Party in a statement signed by Mr. Johnson Abejirin, the Local Government Party Chairman made the disclosure while reacting to a baseless statement credited to one unknown Jimoh Kayode.

The Kabba Bunu PDP described the attempt to discredit the widely acceptable Ward Congresses unwarranted, pointing out that the Congresses followed due process and acceptable standard.

The Party said explained that the Congresses was monitored by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Department of State Security Service, Police, described Jimoh Kayode as unknown to the Party, praised party members for their orderly conduct during and after the exercise.

According to the Party Chairman, after the Ward Congresses, he said the Coalition was done at the Local Government Party Secretariat in the presence and full glare of INEC, DSS, Police, commended the Party members for their orderly conduct.

The Kabba Bunu PDP urged members of the party to disregard the purported statement by Jimoh Kayode, said no attempt to infiltrate the ranks and file of the party in the area would be realized.

The Party Chairman assured that the PDP in Kabba Bunu remains United and resolute in its determination to win as it has always done in the past in the forthcoming 2023 general election.
