JUNE 12TH DEMOCRACY DAY: What Cause The Cause And Solution?

OPINION: By Abdulmalik Ibrahim Arewa.

Long before now it is always said that the Nigeria problems are simply and squarely the combination of the failure of leadership, greediness of the big and the ignorance of power shift under a due process.

The North of today is not the North of Sardauna of Sokoto, lates Sir Ahmadu Bello and Sir Abubakar Tafawa Bellwa of Bauchi whose Northernisation policy never blind their focus on a united Nigeria where everybody is relatively secured, and protected, and that is why there were stars like lates Chief Sunday Awoniyi, Makaman Bida, Joseph Tarka, Sule Katagum to mention, were key players in the polity of the then North.

The North Hausa/Fulani of today constitutes the system failure in one hand. The greediness of the Yoruba in the West and the Hausa/Fulani perpectual joint alliance for power over the time gave birth to the emergence of IPOB and the Ibo agitations for self determination in South East.

The East as composed of the lbo extractions, equally constitutes the Nigerian problems of their refusal to accept that the modern day governance of power demands a due process to leadership and not as in the 60s, but through talking and understanding each other and not through violence where people’s lives and regions are put into jeopardy.

These triple saga of our Nation constitutes why the country has turned into a banana Republic with too many unfolding problems bigger than ever and defying All the solutions.

To us in the North Central, it is a time in 2023 to turn around and tour the nation in the direction of Gov. Yahaya Bello as president. The solution is talking, not fighting but asking the 2 dominants Hausa/Fulani and the Yoruba extractions to humbly in the interest of the Nation’s present predicaments and looking for solution, to shield their swards for presidency in 2023 to allow North Central and the South East have the joint presidential ticket of both the APC and the PDP.

To this end, Gov. Yahaya Bello is the direction we keep on standing still with KUFFUA and we are reminding all the Nigerian Youth to feel at home and remain steadfast for the actualisation of “NOT TOO YOUNG TO RUN” and THE TIME IS YOUTH IS YOUTH O’CLOCK 2023 is achieved. GREAT NIGERIA. HAPPY DEMOCRACY DAY, ON JUNE 12Th of this day.
