Kogi West PDP Senatorial District Aspirant, Otunba Adeniyi Olayemi (So’Mi Edumare) has felicitated and congratulated Nigerians, particularly with people of Kogi West Senatorial District for witnessing this year’s Democracy Day.
The leading PDP Senatorial Aspirant says this year’s democracy day is the second in the nation’s history to celebrate the 12th day of June to reflect on the acclaimed most credible and transparent Election held in 1993 but was annulled by President Ibrahim Babangida.
Otunba Adeniyi urged the people of Kogi West Senatorial District to see the efforts of late Chief MKO Abiola to have a nation that can truly work for the masses as one that should not be in vain, disclosing that he has learnt and is following the footsteps of Late Chief M.K.O Abiola’s politics of service to the people.
While lamenting that the nation’s democracy is still faced with Challenges, Otunba Adeniyi said, having realized that more still needs to be done, he has accepted the offer to salvage the situation.
The PDP Senatorial Aspirant assured of purposeful representation if elected, says his desire is a representation that would improve on the living standard of the people of Kogi West Senatorial District.
The PDP Senatorial District Aspirant said every citizen has a role to play in the quest for a better country, urged the people of Kogi West Senatorial District not to despair, but to have high hopes in making the dreams of our forefathers come true.
According to Otunba Adeniyi, the security situation in the country is becoming worrisome hence the need for all hands to be on deck to tackle the menace headlong, called on Government at all levels to Make lives meaningful for the people.
Otunba Adeniyi assured that if elected, Agriculture, infrastructure development, health, education, youth engagement, support for the vulnerables and elderly, the essence of democracy and representation would be his Priority.
