As Wild condemnations and reactions continue to trail the dastard killing of three Police officers and five Vigilante members by bandits in parts of Ajaokuta local government area,the Aguma of Gida- Bassa Community in Ajaokuta local government area, Chief Somson Monday has cleared the air on the unfortunate incident stating that the killing did not take place in his domain.
Chief Somson Monday while chatting with our correspondent vie telephone conversation on Monday hinted that the sad event happened faraway from Gida-Bassa Community.

Chief Somson Monday further informed that he has effectively mobilized his subjects to fish out any dangerous elements traced in the ever ecalating Gida-Bassa Community for security agents for prosecutions.
His words: the sad incident that happened in parts of Ajaokuta area is very unfortunate and a wake up calls for us as traditional rulers, our subjects and residents to device strategies to prevent future and likely occurrence ”.
