Independence: Kogi State Government Begins Payment of September Salaries.


 

The Kogi State Government yesterday received its share of the Federation Account for August, 2021 at around 5:00pm.

Consequently, ahead tomorrow’s independence celebration, the State Civil Servants have started receiving their salaries for the month of September yesterday night.

The Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, made the disclosure in a chat with the Nigerianpost Newspaper.

The Commissioner reiterated the commitment of Gov Yahaya Bello to Prompt Payment of salaries and pensions, Commended the Governor for making the welfare of workers a priority.
