The Rector, Nigeria – Korean Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology, Williams Charles Oluwatoyin has assured that Kogi State will with the avowed commitment and determination of Gov. Yahaya Bello, rule the nation’s technological space, create opportunities for youths in world class multinationals and make huge revenue.
The Rector made the disclosure when he officially resumed work at the Nigeria – Korean Friendship Institute of Vocational and Advanced Technology.
The Rector who was speaking after a meeting with the staff and after an inspection round the Institute’s facility, expressed optimism that the present administration would not leave any stone unturned in achieving the much talked about technological advancement, reiterated Gov. Bello’s determination to make youths of the State self reliant.
According to the Rector, ” What I saw left my mouth wide open. With what we have here, I am 100% certain Kogi will rule Nigeria’s Technology space, create oppurtunities for our youths in world class multinationals and make huge revenue. Gov. Yahaya Bello is committed, determined to make our Youths Self reliant.
” Here in NKFI, we have automobile sections where vehicles can be assembled, faults diagnosed and fixed. Welding and fabrication section where weldings such as underwater welding taught and the fabrication of any type equipment be made.
” The Electrical and Electronics have AEDC and Dangote staff as students. The ICT facilities are world class and top notch; can provide aside basic ICT programms, provide security services for government, private entities – As a matter of fact, the school has the facilities and capacity to secure Kogi state.
” The hardware available here have no rival in sub Saharan Africa and this development and infrastructure are the handiwork of Gov. Bello. We are very proud of the present administration’s commitment to NKFI even as we look forward to more in the coming days.
” I am confident that with the support of His Excellency, NKFI in a couple of months will make headlines worldwide and attract all and sundry, this is because we have a Governor who has proven that the time for our Youths to become self reliant is now.
The Rector expressed his appreciation to Gov. Yahaya Bello for the appointment, expressed confidence that under the leadership of Gov. Bello, the state would continue to remain a positive reference in all round development.
