HYPADEC Commission: Hon. Osanaiye Commend Nomination, Appointment, Screening of Alhaji Isa Ozi Salami .. Thanks Gov. Bello, Sen. Adeyemi for their roles.


The nomination, appointment and confirmation of Alhaji Isa Ozi Salami  as a member of the Governing Council of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPADEC) has been commended and described as well deserved and well thought out decision.

The commendation was made by Hon. Osanaiye Francis Oluyori, a businessman cum Politician from Kogi State, Commended President Mohammadu Buhari for appointing Alhaji Isa Ozi Salami as member of the HYPADEC Commission.

Hon. Osanaiye pointed out that the integrity and vast experience of Alhaji Salami would no doubt make the difference, described him as a man with a Midas touch and an untainted integrity.

The Kogi base Port-Harcourt businessman assured that the HYPADEC Commission will witness a positive and unprecedented result with the caliber of the members, stating Alhaji Salami along side other members have what it takes to deliver.

Hon. Osanaiye Particularly praised Gov. Yahaya Bello for the nomination of Alhaji Salami, pointing out that his nomination by the Governor is well thought out and result oriented Initiative.

While assuring that the nomination of Alhaji Salami would be justified through positive Service delivery by the Commission, Hon. Osanaiye thanked the Senate for the speedy confirmation of Alhaji Salami and other members of the Commission described their action as patriotic.

He Particularly hailed Senator Smart Adeyemi for the support given to Alhaji Salami and other members of the Commission in getting speedy clearance by the Senate.

Hon. Osanaiye stressed that he has no doubt in the ability of Alhaji Salami to perform, urged him to see his appointment, nomination and screening as a reward for integrity, hardwork, urged him to be spurred to work more for the nation using this singular opportunity.

Recall that the Senate recently confirmed eight nominees to the Governing Council of the HYPADEC Commission as submitted by President Mohammadu Buhari.

The nominees were confirmed after the consideration of a report of the Senate Committee on Power.

Those confirmed are Hon. Ityav Joseph Tarfa (Benue), chairman; Abubakar Sadiq Ahmed Yelwa (Kebbi), managing director; Alhaji Isa Ozi Salami (Kogi), member; Taoheed Daud Toyin (Kwara), member; Hon. Mikail Al-Amin Bmitosahi (Niger), member; Dr. Saleh Mohammed Galadima Kanam (Plateau), member; Aminu Mohamed Ganda (Sokoto), member, and Chief Utum Ubi Eteng (Cross River), member.
