The All Progressive Congress Primary election for House of Assembly Aspirants in Okehi Local Government Area was held peacefully.
The Returning officer Mr Jimoh Ozigi Omeiza who supervised the accreditation of delegates before the commencement of voting.
The delegates was line according to wards and voting commenced and ended peacefully.
The Returning officer Mr Jimoh Ozigi Omeiza decleared the following results after a credible election, Hon. Otokiti Alhassan Zakariya polled 52 votes and Hon. Garba Avidime Hassan polled 3 votes.
I, Mr Jimoh Ozigi Omeiza as the returning officer for All Progressive Congress Primary election in Okehi Local Government had duly decleared Hon Zakari Otokiti Alhassan as the winner haven’t scored the highest vote.
The process had in attendance, the Local Government Council Chairman Hon Abdulraheem Ohiare Ozovehe, Barr. Abdulsalam Ozigi commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy affairs,Hon Abubakar Adagu and other political appointees including stakeholders.
