On behalf of the people of Kabba-Bunu/ Ijumu Federal Constituency, I wish to commiserate with our dear friend, brother, colleague, and associate; Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, his siblings, and the entire family over the demise of their mother and martriarch, Hajia Belikisu Suleiman, which sad event occurred on Saturday, July 10th, 2021.
Indeed, it is very painful and sad that Mama has gone to be with her Maker at a time when her special prayers, counsel and emotional support is most needed by Hon. Shaba Ibrahim and his siblings in their respective careers and endeavor.
Though one is sad about Mama’s sudden and shocking departure, but as mere mortals, I urge Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, his siblings, the family and every one she has left behind, to take solace in the fact that, Allah gives and takes; whenever He wills. Also, they should be comforted that whilst Mama was alive, she lived a most fulfilling life of love, compassion, sacrifice, and service to all and sundry; anchored on the tenets of Allah and Islamic principles.
I pray that Allah will grant Hajia Belikisu Suleiman eternal peace, repose her soul, and grant Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, siblings, and the entire family, the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
