HON. SANI SALIHU EXPRESSES GRATITUDE TO ODODO, DEPUTY, ASSEMBLY, SSG, AUDITOR-GENERALS, LOCAL LEADERS, OTHERS OVER APPOINTMENT

Hon. Sani Salihu, Commissioner at the Kogi State Assembly Commission representing Kogi East, has expressed profound appreciation to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Deputy Governor, the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, members of the Assembly, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Auditor-General for the State, Auditor-General for Local Government, as well as other key stakeholders, friends, and family members for their goodwill messages following his appointment.

In a statement made available to newsmen, Hon. Salihu described the overwhelming messages of felicitation received through various communication platforms as deeply touching and humbling.

“With all humility and utmost respect, I am grateful to all of you for your felicitation messages through various communication platforms in celebrating my appointment. Your love, prayers, wishes, and all your kind words are engraved firmly in my heart and I shall not take them for granted,” he said.

He expressed optimism that the collective support and unity demonstrated by stakeholders would further strengthen governance and development in Kogi State.
“I am trusting that together we shall patriotically achieve the Kogi of our dreams. From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely appreciate you all.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. God bless you all,” he added.

Hon. Salihu specifically commended the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for his vision and commitment to the development of the state, noting that his administration has continued to inspire confidence among citizens.

He also appreciated the Deputy Governor for his support and dedication to the progress and unity of Kogi State, while acknowledging the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly and Honourable Members, particularly those from Kogi East, for their legislative cooperation and service to the people.

The Commissioner further recognized the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) for her administrative coordination and commitment to effective governance.

He also extended appreciation to the Auditor-General for the State, Alhaji Y.Y. Okala, the Auditor-General for Local Government, Alhaji S.A. Yakubu (Fancy), as well as Alhaji Friday Idachaba, the leader of Idah Local Government, for their support and contributions to the growth and stability of the state.

Hon. Salihu concluded by appreciating friends, associates, and family members for their constant prayers and encouragement, describing their support as a strong pillar in his journey.

He reaffirmed his commitment to serve with total dedication, unwavering commitment, and uncompromising loyalty to the administration and the people of Kogi State, in line with the vision of the current government.
