The Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Project Monitoring, Honourable John Urah Ikani says his vision is to contribute positively to the success of the present administration in Kogi State.
Hon John Urah Ikani made the remark on Sunday at a meeting with the Lokoja Branch of Ojogba Progressives Development Association, OPDA.
The Special Adviser said there was need to consolidate on the successes of the Governor Yahaya Bello led administration, saying governance requires collective efforts.
He explained that the present government needed to be supported in all ramifications hence the need to support the administration.
According to him, he will continue to embrace constructive criticisms in the overall interest of Ojogba Community and Kogi State at large.
Hon John Urah Ikani expressed appreciation to the Association and urged them to do more in order to propell the wheel of progress in its entirety.
The Special Adviser assured of necessary support, adding that the new postion was a greaater call to service, hence his determination to remain a good ambassador of the area.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Association, Mr Emmanuel Shaibu noted that the appointment of Hon John Urah was a pride to them and thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for recognizing competence and hard work.
Mr Emmanuel Shaibu urged the Special Adviser to maintain his integrity and hard work towards attaining set goals.
An Adviser to the Association, Engineer Ayatu Muhammed, the Secretary, Mr Ilemona Alidu and others emphasized the need for total support for the new appointee and prayed for God’s protection in the period ahead.
Highlight of the visit was a special prayer session for Hon John Urah Ikani and his office, Ojogba community and Governor Yahaya Bello and Kogi State at large.
