Kogi State Commissioner, Ministry of Water Resources Hon. (Dr.) Abdulmumin Danga received Prestigious Global Leadership Award for Good Governance in Nigeria from Future Leadership Award at the future leadership Conference held in Lagos State, Nigeria.
The Future Leadership Conference is the preventive arm of The Second Chance Care Foundation – It is an annual gathering of young professionals drawn from various walks of life. It is strategically conceptualized to promote the spirit of leadership and entrepreneurial consciousness amongst young Nigerian.
It also provides supports to individual initiatives as well as empowering those who are committed to personal transformation for the purpose of facilitating societal transformation at all levels of our society. It is a fact that Leadership has been our collective albatross as a nation and it will not be out of place to prepare our youths for the future challenges of Leadership in Nigeria
Like a Golden fish who has no hiding place, Hon. Danga was rewarded in recognition of his selfless contributions to the promotion of good Governance in Nigeria.
Dr. Benjamin Oluwatosin Olowojebutu who presented the award to Hon. Commissioner, described him as a man with a Lion heart because when others are running away from people because of their deplorable condition, this man seems to be daring with unrelenting and indefatigable mindset facing the monster right at it’s faces, unwinding it’s venom from the victims through humanitarian services, always available for all and exhibition of true leadership qualities.
Hon. Danga was ably represented by Special Adviser to Kogi State Governor on Water Resources Hon. Yahaya Ismail at the Conference and in his acknowledgement, he appreciate the organization for this recognition and he promised on behalf of his Boss that Hon. Danga will continue to do more because it’s already an anthem in Kogi State and he therefore dedicated the Prestigious award to an Egalitarian Leader, trailblazer and a man who has revolutionized youth participation in governance His Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello Executive Governor, Kogi State.
