
Hold Obaseki Responsible For Hoarding FG Rice Palliatives, Others , Momoh Tells Edo People

The Minister for Nigeria Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Abubakar Momoh yesterday has asked Edo people to hold Governor Godwin Obaseki responsible for allegedly hoarding the palliative rice from the federal government meant for the poor in the state.
He accused Obaseki for keeping the rice and re-bagging it with label of Edo state government and picture of Asue Ighodalo.
Momoh stated this in Auchi during the Edo Senatorial APC Flag off campaign in Auchi, Headquarters of Etsako West Local Government Council Area.
According to the Minister, he told the people on Channel Television live interview about the rice given to Edo State government when the state government refused to give it to Edo people that it is meant for.
” Obaseki denied Edo People palliative rice which the federal government gave to him to distribute to the poor people.
” I will show people what NDDC have done in the state when we start ward to ward campaign.” he stated.
On his part , The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC)in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo promised to create over 5000 jobs for the youths in the state within the first hundred days in office.
According to the APC candidate , development will start from where former governor Adams Oshiomhole stopped.
Okpebholo promised to create a peaceful environment in the state as kidnapping and other various vices will go with the Obaseki-led government.
A former governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole, in his remarks said , governor Godwin Obaseki brought a man who forged voters card to contest for governor
” PDP as a party has no candidate as we talk, the federal high court Abuja has said so. The process that brought Asue Ighodalo in the primaries was also faulted by the federal high court in Abuja, so don’t go and waste your vote for PDP.”
According to him, the Edo State government led by Governor Godwin Obaseki deceived World Bank to collect money for Edo Best, but there is nothing to show for it.
” The World Bank may have been used to collect money, Edo People will not pay, we must tell Obaseki to show where he used the money.”
