Hajia Sefiya attends RA4D COPESA Global Press Conference.

Haj. (Mrs.) Sefiya Abdulmumin has attended the Global Press Conference of the RA4D COPESA SDGs 2030 initiative, 2022 in Africa held in Abuja, Nigeria.

The global press conference called for collaboration, partnership, sponsorship support and action for the implementation of the RA4D COPESA SDGs Agendas, foundation phase 1 blue print in Africa (Malawi, Nigeria and Ghana).

Dr. Putri Ernawati Abidin, Founder/Chief Executive Officer reputed Agriculture for grassroot development (Nigeria, Malawi and Ghana) in his address, appreciated the Government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria who have reckoned and approved non-governmental organization as reputed Agriculture for grassroots development foundation through the corporate affairs commission in Abuja, Nigeria for the activation of the project for local participation and for also given this ample opportunity to the organization to hold this press conference and thereafter the training at Ilorin in Kwara State of Nigeria.

Dr. Abidin emphasized that they’ve choosing Agriculture in phase 1 of this project while orange-fleshed sweet potato as the sub-sector because of its untapped potentials knowing fully well that Agriculture is very pertinent in individual lives today.

He further emphasized that we must consider crop diversification as part of the improved nutrition intervention, small agriculture, regenerative agriculture principles and fighting against poverty, as all are critical element that can contribute to sustainable and just food system, said orange fleshed sweet potato (OFSP) is used as food juice.

The Chief Executive Officer, Maya Care foundation, Haj. Sefiya Abdulmumin in her address appreciated the organization for their passion and commitment towards the betterment of humanity in Nigeria and indeed African.

She emphasized that Maya Care foundation is a non-profit, Non-governmental and non-Partisan organization registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) to address social, environment, education and economic challenges bedeviling the well-being of humanity with a special attention on rural areas by empowering communities, spreading hope and elevating poverty.

She further emphasized that the coming together here today is the propagation of kindness, love and humanity which are the core purpose of existence and as it is rightly opined by Mother Teresa, She quote “we cannot do great things on this earth, only small things with great love”.

She prayed for successful training and journey mercy for all the reputable non-governmental organization, local and other international stakeholders, donors and sponsors that will attend the training in Kwara State.
