The Commitment of Gov. Yahaya Bello to reposition the Education Sector of the state, received a boost as the State Commissioner of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Jones, FCIB, led a team from the ministry to inspect the ongoing work at GYB Model Science Secondary School Adankolo, Lokoja.
Recalled that Gov. Bello the education friendly Governor had given approval for the establishment of GYB Model Science Secondary School in the 3 Senatorial Zones of the State.
The efforts is aimed at encouraging peaceful co-existence, harmony, equality and justice. The construction work has Since commenced for the establishment of the Model Science Secondary Schools in the three Senatorial districts of the State towards ensuring that no ethnic region is left out.
Speaking on the progress of work, Hon. Jones commended Gov. Bello in his efforts to more than previous administration, improve on the quality of education in the State.
While reiterating the present administration resolve to make the state an envy in quality and Sustainable educational development, Hon. Jones praised the unrelenting efforts of Gov. Bello in building the future generational leaders.
He assured that the ministry would ensure compliance with the standard and quality, urged the contractors to work to specifications.
