Gov. Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has been described as an Unmatchable achiever in Rural Development.
The Kogi State Commissioner for Rural Development, Hon. Daniel Oneil Ejigbo, made the disclosure while fielding questions from Newsmen on the efforts of the present administration in rural development, said since the creation of the state, no administration has equal the rural development efforts of Gov. Yahaya Bello.
According to the Commissioner, Gov. Bello has proven to be Rural Development oriented when justapose with his unmatched record, described him as divinely sent transform Rural Communities in the state.
The Commissioner explained that the Governor has funded the electrification of over thirty communities across Kogi state in less than six months, described it as unprecedented in the anals of the state’s history.
In his words, ” I don’t think any Governor in Nigeria is doing as much as Gov. Bello at the moment. The passion and zeal with which he’s turning our Rural Communities to urban centres lives one wondering what all Communities would be at the end of his tenure.
” If the Governor can commit this much to power, health, education and general infrastructure as we are witnessing and making rural urban migration now a thing of the past in the state, then fixing Nigeria from the experience he has with Kogi State as a miniature Nigeria, I’m doable sure that if Gov. Yahaya Bello becomes the nation’s President, we would have no distinction between Rural and urban centres in Nigeria”.
Hon. Daniel expressed the pace of development of the state, reiterated that Gov. Yahaya Bello is an unmatchable achiever in rural development hence his fitness for 2023 Presidency is double sure.
