It was another fruitful outing today as the Vice Chancellor, Prof Olayemi Durotimi Akinwumi led a powerful delegation to the National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies, National Assembly, Abuja on a courtesy visit to the Director General of the institute, Prof Suleman Abubakar. It was a meeting between two Federal institutions with a common goal.
The main purpose of the visit is to establish areas of partnership between the Institute of Governance and Development Studies of Federal University Lokoja and the National Institute of Legislative and Democratic Studies.
In his speech, the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Lokoja, Prof Olayemi Akinwunmi, congratulated the DG of NILDS on his giant strides in moving the institute forward.
He then outlined the purpose of the visit to include, but not limited to partnership with NILDS for Legislative Studies in the core areas of its mandate.
He said, ” It is our desire that you will connect us with the limitless market in helping to build a top class Institution and building graduates that would be all rounders.
The Vice Chancellor promised not to leave any stone unturned in ensuring that FUL continue to rank amongst top class tertiary institutions in the country.
