Former Kogi NATA Chairman’s Corpse Found Under Ganaja Flyover Bridge In Lokoja.


 

A former Chairman of Nigeria Automobile Technicians Association Chairman, Kogi State Chapter, Jimoh Adebayo was today found dead under the newly constructed flyover bridge in Lokoja.

 

As at time of visit, the Nigeria post report that Members of NATA converged under the flyover bridge.

 

A member of the Union who craved anonymity said the former Chairman was said to have died under the flyover bridge four days ago, until his body was discovered today.

No cause could be traced to the death of the former NATA Chairman who was said to have been wealthy years ago, but as at time of his death, members said he had virtually sold all his houses, had gone insane, until his dead body was found in the early hours of today.

It took the intervention From NATA members, following rejection by family members, to move the corpse to the Felele Cemetery for burial.

The Kogi State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Williams Ayah, said the command was in the picture of the incidence as a report he said was made to the D Division DPO. He added that the Police Warden assigned to the Ganaja Flyover Bridge saw the corpse on resumption of work today. But while the Command was making arrangements to deposit the corpse at the Mortuary, his family members appeared to identify him, added that he was insane at the point of his death. He said following an undertaking by one of the family members, the corpse was released to them.
