The General Overseer of Bethsaida Church, Anyigba in Dekina Local Government Area, Reverend Doctor Emmanuel Okayi says every successful marriage is anchored on love, patience and tolerance.
Doctor Okayi made the remark on Sunday at the climax of the 2022 Bethsaida Festival of Solution in Anyigba which also featured his Fortieth marriage Anniversary.
The religious leader noted that there was no perfect marriage on earth, hence everyone should abide by the word of God.
According to him, it is the mercy of God that has kept them for the past forty years.
In his words, ‘Every marriage has its own peculiar challenges, this is why I can confidently tell you that there is no perfect marriage anywhere on this planet earth’.
Reverend Okayi explained that ‘Anyone who celebrates marriage anniversary is celebrating tolorence, patience, stressing that Money does not determine good marriage, but character and patience.
He expressed appreciation to God for a life well spent and enjoined the congregation to always pray for the growth of the society.
The General Overseer thanked those who contributed to the success of the programme and prayed for God’s reward upon everyone.
The event was attended by clergymen, both from far and near, friends and associates with special prayers for the family.
