The Etsu Ankuri two of Gadumo in Lokoja, Prince Abdulmalik Adama-Suru has sympathized with flood victims over their unfortunate condition.
Prince Abdulmalik Suru while addressing leaders and stakeholders from Gadumo in his palace said the flood was most devastating in the history of the area.
He stressed the need for quick intervention by the government in order to reduce the sufferings of those affected.
The Gadumo ruler particularly sympathized with the Gadumo extension community for passing through pains, saying the condition was painful to everyone.
He assured that he will liaise with government and relevant bodies to ensure that relief materials get to them appropriately.
Prince Suru also expressed gratitude to Governor Yahaya Bello, His Deputy, Chief Edward Onoja and others for being responsive to the needs of the masses.
According to him, the unscheduled visit will spur him to do more, stressing that he will remain a freedom fighter and a servant leader in view of his stool as a traditional ruler.
Prince Suru thanked the Gadumo leaders for the visit, adding that relief would soon come their way.
