The Eleson of Felele Community, Oworo district of Lokoja Local Government Area, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Abdulkareem Alhassan has appealed to the Sector commandment of the Federal Road Safety Commission ‘FRSC to beam its search light on Motorists that move on one line of the Felele federal high ways to avert avoidable road accidents.
Alhaji Abdulkareem Alhassan made the appeal at his palace Felele-Lokoja during a security meeting with his council of Chiefs,Tribal Heads, Landlords,and crusher Community.
The Eleson of Felele land explained that his called on the Commission had become imperative to prevent the lost of innocent lives and properties of travellers and Residents by erring motor drivers who developed the bad attitudes to drive on one line.
He disclosed that it was also resolved that henceforth Residents in the community would be made not to move out as from 10:30pm till dawn as part of concerted effort introduce to checkmate insecurity in the area.
Alhaji Abdulkareem Alhassan equally appealed to the executive Chairman of Lokoja local government council, Honourable Mohammed Ndasabe Mohammed,to establish his administration’s Operations Lugwu-lugwu Security networks in felele Community to assist in the spread of security threats and checkmate the activities of the bad eggs .
The Paramount ruler urged all Landlords in Felele Community to carry out thorough screening of any tentant before accommodating them to prevent hosting bad elements and make it a Civic responsibility to report strange faces to the police and other security outfits.
Alhaji Abdulkareem Alhassan used the avenue to commend the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for his administration’s pragmatic approach to governance especially in security and the infrastructure development being witnessed in Lokoja and it’s environs.
He also appealed to land owners who are yet to develop to start developing such land to avoid revocation.
