Kogi State Chapter of Jama’atu Nasril Islam has felicitated with Muslims on the occasion of this year’s Maulid Nabiyy marking the birthday of the Prophet of Islam.
The Islamic organization used the opportunity to advise members of the Ummah to emulate the virtues of submission and true worship of Allah as showcased by Prophet Muhammad, SAW.
In the Press Release jointly signed by the State Chairman, Ambassador Usman Bello and Secretary, Alhaji Isa Adeboye, Kogi State JNI called on Muslims in the State to pray fervently for a peaceful Governorship election scheduled for November Eleven, 2023 adding that peace is needed for a hitch free poll.
The statement further called on Islamic Leaders to use the occasion of Maulid Nabiyy to preach morals and abhore frivolities.
