100 days in Office: Coalition of political Parties in Kogi State, . Lauds Governor Ododo

 

… Describes First 100 Days as “Remarkable”

The Coalition of Political Parties in Kogi State have described the first 100 days of Kogi State Governor Usman Ahmed Ododo as remarkable and a beacon of hope for greater development in the state.

Ibrahim M Dangana, the Coalition PRO in a congratulatory message issued to Newsmen noted that the governor’s short time in the saddle has been marked with purpose, evoking humane governance, treating the diverse people and cultures in the state as family members and compassionate towards the suffering masses.

The Coalition enthused that the new administration holds hope for a more peaceful and prosperous Kogi State under a leadership that is as “honest, more humane and ethical as possible”.

The statement partly reads: “Any government that believes in a united society while supporting those ideals to value people and humanity above all interests have the most developed societies, happiest, patriotic and productive citizens.

This is what the records of His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has shown us within just 100 days in office.

We are sincerely grateful that every little step H.E Ododo has taken is as assuring and predictably positive in all directions. These first 100 days demonstrated that the rest of the tenure is a journey towards greater development of our dear State, across all strata of the economy.

“Once again, we congratulate His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo, FCA, members of his young cabinet and the good people of Kogi State on the birth of a new, purposeful and humane government”.

The Coalition listed Governor Ododo’s accomplishments during the period under review to include having a good listening ear, responsible and responsive leadership, exemplified by the prompt response to agitation for improved Local Government staff welfares and salaries, full payment of pensions, strengthening of the state’s security network, renewed focus on rural infrastructure, education, youth, women empowerment and the general well-being of the people.

The Coalition called for more support from the people to enable the governor continue in his developmental strides, towards a successful and rewarding tenure for all.
