Eid El Fitri: Kogi PDP Chairman Felicitates Sen. Natasha, Moslems, Advocates Peace, Love, Tolerance
As Moslems faithful across the globe prepare to celebrate yet another Eid- el-Fitri, a festival that marks the end of the Ramadan Fast, Kogi State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Muhammed Sanni Gambo, has felicitated with the Senator Natasha Akpoti Udaughan, Representing Kogi Central in the National Assembly and entire Moslem brothers and sisters, particularly Kogites who are Members of the PDP in the State for successfully completing a whole Month of Ramadan.
Hon. Gambo in a message of felicitations in Lokoja, the State capital, commended adherents of holy prophet Muhammad for observing all the rites associated with the fasting noting that Allah [SWA] would reward their perseverances, tolerance, inconveniences and self deprivation in the cause of obeying Allah’s commands.
He described Sen. Natasha Akpoti Udaughan as one Senator with a remarkable impact, praised her for keeping the PDP in the State afloat.
He commended Sen. Natasha for her funding and other noteable support that has made Kogi PDP an envy, described the Senator as a rare breed Lawmaker, very hard to come by.
He admonished Ummah and non Moslems alike to in the spirit of the season, use the occasion of the Eid el Fitri celebration to pray for Sen. Natasha to enable her representation entrench democracy by providing good leadership to the state and its citizens.
Hon. Muhammed equally urged the people to come together and use the advantage of their diversity to build a united and strong State that will be the pride, added that the occasion should be use to pray for the unity of the state, mutual love, and peaceful living.
The PDP Chairman enjoined the celebrants to extend love, forgive one another, promote good brotherhood and imbibe the virtues of Holy Prophet Muhammed [SAW] such as reaching out to the needy, peaceful co-existence and sacrifice which are the hallmarks of the celebration”.
He also used the avenue to appeal to Kogites to in the spirit of the season registration, pointing out that the PDP has commenced the process of e-registration for members.
Hon. Gambo wished Sen. Natasha Akpoti Udaughan, Muslim brothers and sisters, Members of the PDP and entire Kogites a blissful sallah celebration.
