IMPROVING ACCESS TO CARE : KGSHIA holds interactive session with Kogi State Specialist Hospital mgt staff aimed at improving access to quality health care
In an effort to improve service delivery to Kogi State Health Insurance Agency enrollees in the state, the Agency today held an interactive session with the Chief Medical Director, Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja, Dr Seyi Folagbade and its management team.
The meeting which was held at the conference hall of KGSHIA Lokoja centred on the need for continued collaboration to ensure KGSHIA enrollees recieve the needed access to care at all times.
Welcoming the management team of KSSH, the Executive Secretary of KGSHIA, Dr. Adekunle Aledare thanked the Chief Medical Director of KSSH, Dr Seyi Folagbade for the improvement in service delivery to the enrollees of the Agency. He maintained that the Agency will from time to time meet with the management of KSSH to ensure smooth partnership capable of ensuring what he described as a “win win situation” for both partners.
In his response the Chief Medical Director of KSSH, Dr Seyi Folagbade declared that the meeting between both organizations is necessary to deliberate on strategies to improve service delivery to KGSHIA enrollees
Dr Folagbade further noted that KSSH would continue to offer quality services to the enrollees of KGSHIA. He assured the KGSHIA management of continued collaboration to ensure KGSHIA enrollees does not suffer catastrophic out of pocket expenditure on health care services in the state.
