… As Lawmaker attends Eid prayers with Maigari of Lokoja
Gov. Yahaya Bello, today Commended the Lawmaker Representing Lokoja Kogi Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, says his Representation has been eventful.
The Reps Member, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim, today joined Gov. Bello to attend the Eid prayers with the Maigari of Lokoja, His Royal Highness Alh. Kabiru Maikarfe.
Together the Governor, Lawmaker and Royal Father went to Government House to visit Alhaji Yahaya Bello, Governor of Kogi State.
At the Government House, the Governor commended the Royal for his efforts in terms of community development and his fatherly role in the peaceful coexistence between the natives and non-natives residing in Lokoja.
The Governor equally commended Hon. Shaba for a job well done as a federal lawmaker, especially in the aspect of physical development with motions and sponsoring of bills that are out to better the lot of the people of Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency and Nigerians at large.
The Governor called for synergy with other people elected by the people, pointing out that governance, Leadership, is a collective responsibility, with the support of the people needed.
In a remarks, Hon. Shaba Ibrahim assured of his Continued support in making laws that would improve the lot of the people and move the state forward.
