The Special Adviser to Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative, Hon. Sandra Mimi, has called on Nigerians to make the welfare of the vulnerable and people with special needs in the society a priority.
Hon. Mimi made the disclosure at the November Monthly Nutritional Support Program for Children affected by HIV/AIDS organized by Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative, said nothing is too small to share with the vulnerable and people with special needs in the present circumstances.
She advised well meaning individuals and organizations in the State to join hands with Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative in providing succour for the vulnerable.
” My call to Kogites is to join hands and make people with special needs have a sense of belonging as those in that category should not be left for government alone”.
” While I must commend the Executive Director of Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative in her support for the less privileged”, the task of providing succour should be a multi stakeholder responsibility.
Similarly, Hon. Hajiya Aishat Gimba, Special Adviser NGO to Governor Yahaya Bello added her voice to the call for citizens to support the needy, said it is a religious command as well as a moral obligations for citizens to share with the have nots.

Ministry of Health who also supported the monthly Nutritional Program for November, lauded the selfless service of Mrs Roseline Alabi to the vulnerable in the society.
Also, Amb. Tobi Tijani said nothing is too much to give to the vulnerable and people with special needs, said at the long run, it will make the society a better and safe place to live in.
In her remarks, Pastor Mrs Roseline Alabi, Executive Director, Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative, said the November Monthly Nutritional Support Program for Children affected by HIV/AIDS seeks to interact with the beneficiaries to enable the organization meet their peculiar needs.
She identified the payment of school fees as requested by many of the beneficiaries as the pressing needs, solicited more partnership to enable some of the affected begin or continue with their education.
Mrs. Alabi described the need for the affected beneficiaries to be enrolled in schools closer to their houses, get proper medication and food as top priority of
Dual Care and HIV Prevention Initiative, equally appealed for sanitary pads for many of the female beneficiaries who confessed to be using clothes as sanitary pads.
Mrs. Alabi said the Nutritional program for orphans, vulnerable children and their care givers was to seek ways of meeting their needs, expressed appreciation to several partners who have supported the organization in bringing smiles and happiness to beneficiaries.
