Federal government of Nigeria has been called upon to resolve their differences with ASUU and call off ongoing strike to save the country’s universities from collapse.



The Provost Kogi State College of health science and technology Idah in Kogi State Comrade Doctor Nuhu Solomon Ayengwu made the call while responding to a National merit Award confired on him as a Silent Hero an Icon in education among top Nigerians at Sheraton hotel Abuja by Nigeria Silent Hero Magazine representatives Abuja.



Comrade Doctor Solomon Nuhu Ayengwu expressed concern on the long strike embacked upon by ASUU and called upon the federal government to look inward to resolved their differences.


The Comrade Doctor said it is embarrassing for a country having the highest population of blacks on the planet for its Universities education where majority of Youths is trained to embark on strike for too long.


The Provost described education as pivotal to any society pointing out that University education is the center of higher learning where capacity is molded in becoming productive to the large society.

He called on critical stake holders of education in the country to rise and defend educational sector in the country and Commended President Muhammed Buhari for his efforts at fighting insecurity challenges across the country.

According to the Provost Universities education in Kogi State for the past six to seven years have not gone on strike stressing that students in various institution graduates from school of Studies in record time.

Comrade Doctor Nuhu Solomon Ayengwu expressed gratitude to the Silent Hero Magazine for their recognition at bestoring him the Award and rededicate the Honour to Governor Yahaya Bello for giving him the opportunity to serve in that capacity.

According to the Provost the Award will spur him to be more innovative to offer more selfless Service to the people in sustaining high level standered of teaching and learning in Kogi State College of health science and technology Idah to greater heights.

The Awardee Thanked Governor Yahaya Bello for recently approving the construction of the internal Road net work construction of the college and described Governor Yahaya Bello as Hero of education and called on other state government in the country to come and emulate him.

Speaking on behalf of the awardees the Inspector general of police Thanked the management of Silent Hero Magazine for the Honour and reiterates the awardees determination to rigic the security system of the country to protect lives and property of Nigerians and to serve the people better.

Speaking Earlier The Representative of the Silent Hero Magazine David Abass said it was a critical research analysis done where recommendation of the body found Comrade Doctor Nuhu Ayengwu Solomon worthy for the award and described him as an Icon in educational development in the state.

Dignitaries presented the awards are Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, The Inspector general of police, Minister and other top Government Officials in Nigeria.
