The Commander,Counter terrorism unit Gusau, Zamfara state Command of the Nigeria Police Force,CSP Abdul Kadir Umar, has applauded the Inspector General of Police ( IGP), Usman Baba Alkali for his Commitments and efforts towards Capacity building and professionalism for the personnel of the Nigeria Police Force.
CSp Umar disclosed this to Newsmen shortly after he was presented a Diploma Certificate in Crowd Control, following the Completion of a five days intensive training and course organized by the the Nigeria Police in Collaboration with her Spanish Counterpart to boast Capacity, Competence and professionalism of personnels of the force,at the force headquaters Abuja.
in his word,” the Nigerian police today is better equip than ever before, it personnel are more skilled trained and moltivated like their Colleague in the developed world,so the Nigerian police under Usman Baba Alkali has grown and developed.
The Commander further stressed that, the Nigerian police force under Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Baba Alkali has become a force to be reckoned with both in the Africa sub region and the world at large, adding that the IGPS Commitments and drive to enthrone hard work, Competence and professionalism in the Nigerian police force through training and courses was legendary.
Continueing, the Commander Umar said that the skills and knowledge acquired during the course and training would be transfer to his subordinate, to ensure they have the current knowledge and skills on crowd control,more so that the Campaigns for the 2023 general elections has begun where alots of Crowd are expected.
In a related development, CSp Umar has also received the Independent Media Practitioners “Icon of peace and security award” 2022,presenting the Award to him at the Counter terrorism unit of the Zamfara State police Command Gusau,the Northern Nigeria Cordinator of the group, Comrade Peter Jatau, decribed CSP Umar as a patroitic Police officer, who has demostrated exemplary leadership qualities in the discharge of his duties,adding that his selflessness, commitment and dedication to the service of the Nigerian police was inspiring .
Reacting to the honour accorded him by the media group,CSP Umar promised to remain dutifully commited in discharging his responsibilities,pointing out that, the award came as a suprise,and has also proven that whatsoever you are doing as a human being others are watching,even as he said the award would spur him to do more in the service of the Nigerian police force.
