The Correspondents’ Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) in Edo State have expressed delight in the appointment of Rev. David Ugolor as member of the inter-ministerial committee on Disposal of All Assets Forfeited to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
The Chapel recalled the appointee willingness to volunteer his time and effort as well as opinions on the nation’s budgetary implementation, open/good governance, anti-corruption- through his organization, the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice.
A Statement issued in Benin City by the chairman and Secretary of the chapel , Nefishetu Yakubu (Mrs.) and Mr. Osaigbovo Iguobaro, respectively said the appointment will bring out the good in him, ( Ugolor), as he has always done for humanity and Mankind.
The statement reads: “for us as journalists and Watch Dog of The Society, we are confidence that your varsatile experience demonstrated in Human Rights activism and good govanance would be a rallying point for the committee’s mandates.
“We trust that you will continue to work for the general good of humanity and Mankind.
“Please be aware that you have our full support, and we wish you all the best as you proceed on this national assignment”.he concluded.
