A former member of the house of Representatives who represented the Nkwerre/Nwangele/Isun/Njaba Federal Constituency of Imo State, between 2007-2011,Hon, Juliet Nne Nne Akano has hailed the rulling all progressives Congress ( APC), for holding a successful convention.
The former lawmaker also disclosed that, inspite of the crisis the party went through,they were able to come out with such elaborate National Convention has shown the level of strength and cohesion of the party.
” to be honest,I was in the people’s democratic party (PDP), before I joined the ruling party APC, through out my days in the PDP I have not seen such national convention of any political party since 1999″.She Commended the all progressives Congress (APC), Caretaker Extraordinary and National Convention Planning Committee, under the leadership of His Excellency,Mai Mala Buni for steering the party at such a trying moments.
Hon. Juliet Akano who was a member of the sixth National assembly,disclosed this to the press at the Eagle Square,during the National Convention of the rulling party on Saturday 26 March,2022.
She also applauded the Governor Hope Uzodima led Government in the state for his giant stride in the area of infrastructure and empowerment of both the youths and women, stressing that inspite of the problem of insecurity bedeviling the state in recent time, the Governor has remained focused and irrevocably committed towards providing the gains of democracy to the good people of Imo State….
