BY Itodo Ibrahim.

The Coalition of Political parties for GYB/CEDO is comprised of Governorship candidates that supported the second bid of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello.

The coalition believed that consistency for consolidation was better than experimental leadership, this ideology gave birth to the overwhelming support in all ramifications that gave us victory at the polls on the 16th November Governorship election.

We are not deterred in our support due to the laudable steps taken at the commencement of this consolidation, we are encouraged that with prayers and consistent support from all and sundry the Governor will take Kogi to the next level.

The coalition therefore, applauds the Governor and his tacticians for the establishment of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara.

The electrification of Kogi East that is ongoing which is already yielding results in some Local Government.

The adoption of orthodox method and proactive measures employed to control the spread of Covid – 19 that ravaged the whole world by His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello was legendary.

The ideology of Ebigo theory which is first of its kind is yielding results, no wonder the level of peace enjoyed since the inception of this administration is remarkable.

The coalition is aware of your inaugural statements which emphatically or unequivocally addressed the setback caused by none payment of salaries, Your Excellency, we are proud to witness promise kept inspite of all challenges caused by Covid – 19 salaries are constantly being addressed.

The coalition will not forget in a hurray to acknowledge the dexterity, doggedness and the sacrificial role played in the success of the 16th November Governorship election by His Excellency, Chief Edward Onoja.

The series of meetings held to persuade almost all the Governorship candidates that lead to the stepping down of 36 registered political parties with their candidates for GYB/CEDO is quite as uncommon boldness and humility which transformed into the victory for All Progressive Congress (APC).
This proactive initiative and loyalty to Alh. Yahaya Bello is commendable.

It is our view that this mentorship of this government shall be sustained for consistency and rapid development of Kogi State to further consolidate the party, (APC).

The coalition appeals to GYB/CEDO and the entire tacticians that worked for the success of the 16th November Governorship election that nobody from the coalition has benefited from all inclusive government promised the group.

We are using this channel to appeal to His Excellency to remember us for some slots of appointment.
We also appeal to all Kogites, party affiliation not withstanding to support this administration by praying for wisdom on the entire leadership of the present administration to transform the State by embarking on the people’s oriented projects.

“Challenges are inevitabilities of life” therefore, the coalition pass a vote of Confidence on Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello in recognition of His Ebigo principles that has sustained peace in the three senatorial districts and His orthodox method on Covid – 19 pandemic in Kogi State.

Ibrahim Itodo
