As Christians in Kogi State, the Nation and the World at large celebrate this year’s Christmas, the President of Kogi Star Women Association, Eunice John has admonished faithfuls to imbibe the core Christian values of Peace, Love and Communal harmony .
In a special Christmas message, Mrs Eunice charged Christians to continually exemplify the virtues of love and care, especially for the less privileged persons in the society.
The statement further charged Christian faithfuls to seize the opportunity of the yuletide to foster the spirit of unity and harmonious co-existence irrespective of tribal, ethnic and religious divides.
While she prayed for God’s divine guidance and blessings to be upon all families and households, also called for special prayers for sustained peace, progress and courage to overcome all challenges confronting the State and the Nation in general.
The President congràtulated Gov Yahaya Bello for the peace and tranquility enjoyed in the State, appreciated him for his efforts in making the State safe.
” I wish you a hitch-free Christmas celebration and a Prosperous New Year” She said.
