Towards putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged in the society, wife of former Kogi State Deputy Governor, Mrs Tokunbo Awoniyi hosted Children of the Margret Ohiami orphanage home, Lokoja to a party as part of the Christmas Celebration.
The get together is Mrs Awoniyi’s annual support to the Orphanage home which dates back several years, called on well to do individuals and people of good will to make regular visits to orphanage homes as a way of appreciating God.
She thank God for the life of the children, says amidst the challenges of Covid19, the home was safe with the children looking healthy, commended the management for doing a good job.
She urged the children not to lose hope but to see a brighter future that is rewarding, if only they can remain focused, give priority to their studies, pray and work hard.
Mrs Awoniyi promised her continued support to the home, pointing out that giving to the less privileged and the vulnerable should be a way of life for Nigerians.
This year’s visit to the Ophanage and Christmas Party with the children had Mrs Adefere aka Tojoda in attendance, while Mrs Idowu Abu, represented the wife to the former Deputy Governor.
