The Honourable Commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, who doubles as Chairman Forum of Commissioners in the state, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris has sent his hearty congratulations to his Leader, Principal and Mentor, Governor Yahaya Bello as he was deservingly bestowed with the prestigious Award of Politician of the year, saying the award further validate the unprecedented leadership strides of His Excellency.
Asiwaju, in his message to celebrate the prestigious Award, emphasised the appropriateness of the honour owing to the leadership qualities exuded by His Excellency and the remarkable milestones recorded, saying he has carved an exemplary niche for him as a progressive politician, change maker and a Good Governance Advocate as emperically seen in the land and lives of Kogites.
In his words” in our contemporary democratic phase, there must be a strong nexus between a true politician and the ability to engender good Governance, regardless of seen and unforseen blockades. Governor Yahaya Bello towers above those that Politicise with relentless fancy, relegating the welfare and wellbeing of their people below the belt, rather he’s an adept politician that will stop at nothing to make sure all Politics is people oriented and development focused”.
Saying further “I am not perplexed at all that the Blue Print Newspaper finds him worthy of these prestigious Award. It’s apparently a laurel to commend him for his Audacity to vy, courage to stand tall and the subsequent spirit of sportmanship he showed before, during and aftermath the APC Presidential Primary Election. Again, it’s an honour done on him to appreciate the giant strides recorded in the area of Security of lives and Properties, Quality Health Care delivery, Solid and Affordable Education, Massive infrastructural development, uncommon Agricultural renaissance, Poverty Eradication, Financial prudence, Fiscal Re-egineering and his Unification capacity in the state under his Leadership.
