The Honourable Commissioner of Finance,Budget and Economic Planning, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA has sent his heartfelt message of felicitation to an eminent son of Okun land and one time acting Governor of the confluence state, Chief Clearance Olafemi on the auspicious occasion of his birthday, 27th July, 2022.
Asiwaju in his brithday message released through his media Assistant, hails chief clearance Olafemi as an Elderstateman per excellence and a political avatar, whose strides in public office is not only exemplary and people focused, it engender development to the admiration of all. Baba clearance, no doubt, is an harbinger of developmental politics.
In his words, “the erstwhile Acting Governor of the confluence state is not just a father figure, but a ready- to- meet cistern of knowledge and wisdom, who is always willing and poised to add value towards the development of the state”. As acting Governor, within the short stint, his positive footprint and developmental milestones still susbsist in the state, Mukadam stated.
“He’s a community developer, lover of peace, bridge builder, development enthusiast and a Nationalist, in whom Okun Nation and Yagba Land is delightfully proud of in no small measure”.
