By joshua 2027: Gegu Rallies Kogi Electorate For Tinubu, Ododo, Aguye, Says APC Remains Unbeatable
The Kogi State Commissioner for Solid Minerals and Natural Resources, Engr. Abubakar Bashir Gegu, has urged supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to sustain their support for the Member representing Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency, Hon. Danladi Sulaiman Aguye, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Engr. Gegu made the call at the cash empowerment programme organised by the National Productivity Centre in collaboration with Ascourt Consult Ltd and powered by Hon. Aguye for constituents of the federal constituency.
The event, which drew beneficiaries from Oworo, Kupa North, Kupa South, Eggan and Kakanda, was attended by top government officials, party chieftains and community leaders.
Describing Hon. Aguye as humble, accessible and performing, the Commissioner said the lawmaker had justified the mandate given to him despite being a first-timer in the House of Representatives.
“Hon. Aguye is a worthy representative. He has empowered youths, supported women, facilitated skill acquisition and executed people-oriented programmes across the federal constituency. He deserves our collective support for second term,” he said.
Engr. Gegu noted that the empowerment initiative was another proof of Aguye’s commitment to the welfare of his people and urged that such gestures be reciprocated with loyalty at the polls.
He commended Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for providing an enabling environment for political office holders to deliver dividends of democracy to the grassroots, and charged beneficiaries to use the cash support judiciously to improve their livelihoods.
The Commissioner further rallied party faithful to remain united and deliver victory for all APC candidates from top to bottom in 2027.
“Kogi State is APC and Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency is APC. Kogi LGA is already under lock and key for the APC. There is no alternative to Tinubu, Ododo and APC,” he declared.
“Having considered all options, Lokoja/Kogi Federal Constituency stands with Ododo. The present administration has given so much to us and the only way to appreciate it is to ensure the return of Governor Ododo and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
Engr. Gegu cautioned the electorate against politicians who only surface during election seasons.
“Be wary of politicians coming your way because of the 2027 election. We in the APC are with the people always. Do not be deceived. APC will win overwhelmingly,” he said.
