It goes without saying that Kogi State politics is the most interesting, amusing, absurd, and intriguing political firmament in the country today.

The state is home to all manners of political actors both the ugly, the good, the unserious, the beautiful, the progressive and patriotic elements.

True, the political dynamic have thrown up a lot of unpatriotic and negative elements masquerading as political leaders.

These are desperate and failed politicians who are ready to do anything just to prove an atom of political relevance even when they know that nobody takes them serious in today’s politics in the state.

They are too blind to face reality.

They are too committed in their nuisance value to come to terms with the fact that the time for politics is over in the state.

The political train under the captainship of His Excellency,Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, had since left the station and navigating towards delivering dividends of democracy and good governance to the good people of kogi state, who voted for him overwhelmingly in the last gubernatorial election.

The truth must be told that there is no strong opposition political parties in the present political architecture in the state.

The only political party with strong, massive, formidable and intimidating political structure is the ruling All Progressive Congress,APC.

The other so-called political parties are all existing on air without any relevance at all.

It goes without saying that all of them combined can not and will not win any gubernatorial election in the state, even if they form a mega party.

If you take a cursory look at the results of the last general elections in Kogi State, it is only APC that won almost all the elections in the state, including the presidential election.

APC won all the 25 seats at the State House of Assembly, two senatorial seats and almost all but two House of Representatives seats, except the ones won by Honourable Abejide of Kogi West and Hon.Purphy, representimg Okehi/Adavi federal constituency.

The other opposition political parties are symbols of a failed enterprises.

It is an amalgamation of failed and desperate politicians who are just noise makers for want of any other worthy and reasonable enterprise to engage their idle time.

The tragedy of it all is that they have constituted themselves into class nuisance value and unpatriotic elements who are busy de-marketing Kogi State with their laughable and highly condemnable actions.

Sometimes I wonder the kind of human beings they are.

Are they aware of the collateral damage they are doing to the image of Kogi State because of their idiotic and despicable behavioral tendencies.

Why are they pulling down everything and everyone in the name of opposition politics.

Can they borrow sense from other opposition political parties from our neighbouring States like Ekiti,Edo,Ondo,Kwara,Niger and,Benue.where there are matured and decent opposition politicians.

I wonder what exactly is their problem.

Why is it so difficult for these desperados to understand that the political market day is over.

Their ongoing actions stands reprehensible and despicable to high heaven.

Don’t they have life outside politics.

Who would tell them that they are behaving like riff raff and busy bodies in their unrestrained passion for undemocratic pastimes.

A good leader must learn how to be a good follower first.

Let the so-called opposition political parties and their arrow heads give Kogi State a break and stop dragging the name of the state in the mud.

They should understand that they are not relevant in today’s politics in the state and that is the gospel truth.

They should stop dancing naked in the market square.

The rest of the state have already moved on with their lives.

Let me sound it loud and clear, that Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is the bonafide and worthy governor of Kogi State, who is riding on the crest of consolation and continuity.

Every other thing is just a mere futile attempt to distract him.

He remains focused and determined to deliver good governance to the good people of Kogi State, who voted for him overwhelmingly in the last gubernatorial election.

The likes of Comrade Murtala Ajaka and his co-travellers should go and prepare for the next election day and stop embarrassing themselves and the state.

This is not too much to ask from them.
I come in peace.
