The First Lady of Bayelsa State, Mrs. Gloria Diri of Bayelsa, Her Excellency, Mrs. Gloria Diri has pledged to key into the activities of Niger Delta Carnival slated to hold in the State during Yuletide season.
Mrs. Diri made the pronouncement when Niger Delta Reporters Newspapers (NDRN) crew paid her a courtesy visit in her office recently in Yenagoa.
Mrs. Diri who commended NDRN for planning an all inclusive program noted that activities slated for the carnival would in no small measure contribute to be the economy growth of Bayelsa State.
She therefore called on female gender to register and participate in these activities especially in Fashion Parade, indigenous Cuisine display and Beauty Pageants competitions during the carnival.
Earlier, the publisher of Niger Delta Reporters Newspapers, Hon. Felix Idowu had intimated the mother of Bayelsa State , Her Excellency, Mrs. Gloria Diri that the carnival would be uniquely packaged to bring the needed growth in all sectors of the economy in the State.
