Basil Godday Declares Bid for Lokoja 1 Assembly Seat, Seeks APC Support

Hon. Basil Godday has formally declared his intention to contest the Lokoja 1 Constituency seat in the Kogi State House of Assembly under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a statement announcing his aspiration, Godday said he is seeking the guidance and political support of party leaders and stakeholders, describing himself as “a man of integrity, humility, fairness and justice to humanity.”
Outlining his mission, the aspirant said he aims to “rescue the people of Lokoja 1 and build a home where we need leaders not in love with money but in love with justice, not in love with publicity but in love with humanity.”
“A true leader unites people, does not divide them; does not find faults, but finds remedies; does not execute hate, but cultivates love,” Godday stated. “Successful people build each other up. They motivate, inspire, and support each other.”
He pledged to “fight for the masses and humanity for a better tomorrow” if elected to represent the constituency.
