Assembly Election: Dr. Sanusi Ohiare Lauds Improvement In INEC’s Preparation


… Says his Guber Aspiration hinged on capacity to deliver gains of democracy.
A Kogi State Governorship Aspirant, Dr. Sanusi Ohiare has described the preparations for the State Assembly Election as an improvement on the just concluded Presidential and National Assembly Election.
The Frontline All Progressives Congress Governorship Aspirant made the disclosure after voting in his Adavi-Eba, Nuru Islamic Primary School polling 001 unit in Adavi local Government Area, praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for improving on the process.
Though Dr. Sanusi acknowledged the low turnout of voters at the Assembly Poll, said electorate have priorities in voting, depending on the stakes, attributed the low turnout to the State not holding governorship election.
The former Executive Director, Rural Electrification Agency, described the election as peaceful, faster in process, lauded the efficiency of INEC in the logistics arrangements.
Dr. Sanusi however called on the Independent National Electoral Commission to take a look at specific cases where logistics challenges was noticed with a view to addressing it.
The Governorship Aspirant praised the orderly conduct of the electorate, particularly commended the Participation of women and Youths in the election, described it as commendable.
On his aspiration to govern the State, Dr. Sanusi says he is hinging his aspiration on the capacity to deliver gains of democracy to the people, assured that his experience in rural transformation would enable him impact rural communities of the State.
Dr. Sanusi assured of an all inclusive governance, a style of administration that will give sense of belonging to all section of the State, with massive infrastructure development and empowerment for Women and Youths.
The Frontline governorship Aspirant assured of an APC victory in the State House of Assembly election, assured optimism of picking the APC Governorship ticket in the coming days.
