Asiwaju Asiru Idris wishes Nigerians, Kogites peace, prosperity in 2023.


Prays for peaceful elections, successful transition in 2023 

The Kogi State Commissioner For Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Asiru Idris has felicitated with the people of Kogi State and indeed all Nigerians for witnessing yet another profound opportunity of another new year.

In his message to usher in 2023, the Turakin Koton karfe Kingdom appreciated God’s goodness and mercies, urged the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians to renew their faith in God and remain steadfast in prayers for the peace, love, unity, security and progress of the state in particular and the country in general, especially as “we transit to another democratic dispensation through the 2023 general election.”

The Commissioner therefore, wished the people of Kogi State and all Nigerians “ a prosperous New Year”, urging them to remain resolute in their prayers for the state in particular and the country in general.

He reassured the people of the firm commitment by Gov. Yahaya Bello to continue to serve them with the fear of God and work to sustain the tempo of peace and good governance in spite of the nation’s economic and security challenges.

Asiwaju Asiru used the opportunity to congratulate Gov. Yahaya Bello, and the entire people of the State on the celebration of another new year, expressed optimism that the glory of the State and Nigeria would shine brighter in the new year.
