A front line aspirant for the Bauchi State Governorship position come 2023, Alamin Sani Muhammad, has decried the high cost of nomination forms fixed by the rulling party.
Hon, Alamin Sani disclosed this to Newsmen at the national Secretariat of the party, Abuja when he came to purchase his expression of interest and nomination form.
The Governorship hopeful who expressed his sadness and bitterness over the scenerio, described it as exubitant, unfair and undemocratic.he stressed that the party must remember the promises she made to Nigerians at the formation stage, that the party was a home for both the poor and the rich, query why they have chosen to become elitist’ in the sales of the party’s nomination form.
He further buttressed that, the rulling party aught to have taken into consideration the current economic hardship in the country, but wonder why the party has taken such an unpopular and insensitive decision.
He called on the National working Committee of the party and the national Chairman to as a matter of terrible urgency reverse the decision, by cutting down the price by 50 percent to reflect the wishes of majority members of the party and Nigerians in general.
He also expressed worries over the neglect suffered by non APC State, that is State that are Govern by other political parties, saying that the plight of members in such state was pathetic, even as he said the party in Bauchi State hadn’t gotten any intervention from the National Headquarters since the past four years.
