As support for the continuation of the Renewed Hope administration under the leadership of Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to gain momentum, individuals and groups across the country are pledging allegiance and backing his return in 2027.
In line with this growing movement, the President of the National Alliance for Women and Youth for Good Governance, Ambassador Esther Elaigwu, an All Progressives Congress (APC) support group leader, has declared her commitment to President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
Speaking during a strategic stakeholders’ meeting with the Director General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Tanko Umar Yakasai, held at the TSG office in Maitama, Abuja, on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, Ambassador Elaigwu pledged to galvanize grassroots support for the President’s reelection bid.
She emphasized that the National Alliance for Women and Youth in Support of Good Governance remains committed to working diligently and unwaveringly toward ensuring the success of President Tinubu’s second-term bid in 2027.
Ambassador Elaigwu noted that there has been inadequate sensitization and awareness of the achievements and transformational agenda of the Tinubu-led administration, particularly at the grassroots level. According to her, this lack of awareness has contributed to limited appreciation of the government’s efforts among the masses.
She therefore called on the APC-led federal government and its leadership to intensify efforts in educating and engaging grassroots communities on the administration’s policies and achievements.
Highlighting her experience, she stated that she would leverage over 20 years in grassroots politics, along with her extensive political network and connections, to mobilize Nigerians, especially those in the North Central zone in support of President Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.
