In the 2023 governorship election the people of Kogi East Senatorial District have resolved to vote for only candidates from their senatorial district. This resolve cannot be breached by any form of intimidation, violence, or manipulation by forces from within and outside the state.

Uk’Omu asserts that the use of political thugs to scuttle the will of the people of Kogi East, a crude strategy used by some parties to deny the people of their right to choose their leaders in the last few years shall not prevail in the next governorship election.

The November election is very crucial for the survival of Kogi State. The people shall reclaim the state from the hands of political bandits who have crushed the people in the last eight years, stolen Kogi’s commonwealth and failed to deliver any form of socio-economic development.
