Agitators of interim government, military take over, should be investigated, tried for treasonable felony – Hon. Sunday Karimi, Kogi West Senator Elect.


 

The Senator Elect, Kogi West Senatorial District, Hon. Sunday Karimi, says those agitating for interim government or beging for military take over should be investigated and tried for treasonable felony.

 

 

The Senator Elect made the disclosure following the briefing by the Department of State Services DSS
and nude pictures of some Nigerians appearing at foreign embassies calling for military take over of the country.

Hon. Karimi called for caution and the need to exercise restraint by Nigerians. He called on the Security Agencies to fish out the perpetrators with the view to bringing some of the unpatriotic citizens to book.

The Senator Elect described the transition in the country as a defining moments, wondered why some persons would not allow the spirit of sportsmanship to envelope them, particularly that the 2023 general election described by International and Domestic observers as credible have produced winners.

The Senator Elect cautioned against desperation by some mischief makers, pointing out that Nigeria belong to all of us, reason why the need to thread softly and ensure peace and unity of the country.

He urged the security agencies not to gloss or toy with the revelation, pointing out that bringing perpetrators to book will serve as deterrent.
