Abu Mike Named Member, Kogi APC Presidential Campaign Council, Pledges Total Support For Tinubu, Ododo

The Special Adviser on South South Mobilization and President of Southerners Resident in Kogi State, Mr. Abu Mike, has been appointed as a Member of the Kogi State Presidential Campaign Council.
His name appeared in a supplementary list released on Saturday and signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Communication, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo. In the list, Mr. Abu Michael was named as a member of the Directorate of Contact and Mobilization, a key arm of the council charged with grassroots engagement and voter mobilization ahead of the 2027 general election.
Speaking on the development, Mr. Abu welcomed the nomination and described the assignment as one that has been made simpler by the impact of the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the national level and Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo in Kogi State.
He said the visible achievements of President Tinubu and Governor Ododo have made the work of mobilization easier, as the people can see and relate with the dividends of democracy delivered by both administrations.
Mr. Abu assured that the assignment will be handled with the utmost determination, hard work and selflessness required. He expressed appreciation for the appointment and pledged to discharge his responsibility with total commitment to the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Describing Kogi State as an APC State, Mr. Abu credited the feat to the leadership of Governor Ododo, whose administration, he said, has entrenched peace, unity and inclusive governance across the state.
He particularly praised Governor Ododo for the inclusion agenda of his administration, which he said has, for the first time in the history of the state, made Southerners a vital aspect of governance in Kogi State. According to him, the Governor’s deliberate policy of carrying all residents along, irrespective of state of origin, has given Southerners a sense of belonging and a stake in the development of the state.
Mr. Abu assured President Tinubu and Governor Ododo of the unflinching support of the people of the South South States resident in Kogi State, made up of Edo, Delta, Cross River, Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Bayelsa States.
He said the Southerners community in Kogi State remains solidly behind President Tinubu’s re-election bid and Governor Ododo’s leadership, and will mobilize massively to deliver victory for the APC in 2027.
He called on all Southerners resident in the state to remain united, peaceful and committed to the success of the campaign, noting that their support is a reciprocal gesture for the inclusion and recognition they have enjoyed under the Ododo administration.
