A Magistrate Court 2 sitting in Lokoja has remanded the Pastor of New Jerusalem Deliverance Ministry, Adeiza Peter in Kabba Correctional facility.
The pastor with church located in Ageva, Okene local government area of the State was alleged for unwholesome practices which bothers round medical quackery and captivity of members.
The presiding Magistrate, A.A. Umar reminded Adeiza Peter till the 20th October, 2022.
Adeiza Peter was remanded for causing culpable homicide, miscarriages and carrying out a legal maternity under the disguise of the church.
Recalled that based on available information, the Kogi State Government swooped on New Jerusalem Deliverance Ministry, where Mentally unstable persons placed under chains were moved out of the prayer house along with others, mainly young women who claimed they came for prayer and had spent months in the ‘church’.
