The Kogi State Commissioner For Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Barr. Mamodu Salami Ozigi, has been commended for the way and manner he has through due process handled the affairs of the Ministry.
The Commendation to Barr. Ozigi is coming from Hon. Abubakar Adagu Suberu, one time Council Chairman of Okehi LGA, a former Special Adviser and an APC Chieftain in Kogi State, particularly praised the Commissioner for following due process and in the matured handling of affairs that led to the peaceful emegence of HRM, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim, Ohinoyi of Ebira Land as the Acting Chairman, Kogi State Traditional Council.
Hon. Abubakar described the efforts of the Commissioner as one that should not be allowed to go unnoticed and without commendation, said his handling of the issues and activities of the Ministry which led to the assumption of the Ohinoyi of Ebira Land as the Chairman of the State Traditional Council is unprecedented and commendable.
Similarly, Hon Abubakar commended the Commissioner for his efforts in handling the Chieftaincy tussle in Ohonwa Clan, Ihima District of Okehi LGA, said the action has systematically brought the people of Ohonwa clan together.
Hon. Abubakar expressed satisfaction that the Initiatives and disposition of the Commissioner has restored peace and sanity to the Ohonwa Clan, commended him for following due process and diligence.
While lauding the Commissioner for the efforts, Hon. Abubakar commended Gov. Yahaya Bello for appointing the Commissioner, described him as a round peg in a round hole, pointed out that the feat by the Commissioner is unprecedented and commendable.
